The highly anticipated Pip returns for a final thriller and she tries to put her life back together after what happened in book 2! This felt like a good concluding book for Pip, although a few things erked me about this one…•Pip is making so many bad decisions。 Incase nobody has told you this yet - do NOT go running or walking outside alone wearing noise cancelling headphones。 That shit just isn’t safe for anyone。 She also is struggling through so much trauma seemingly alone which I didn’t think The highly anticipated Pip returns for a final thriller and she tries to put her life back together after what happened in book 2! It keeps getting better I'm not sure how, but Holly Jackson manages to keep improving with each book。 This was a great way to end the series and say goodbye to Pip。 It keeps getting better I'm not sure how, but Holly Jackson manages to keep improving with each book。 This was a great way to end the series and say goodbye to Pip。 。。。more

HOLY CRAP。 This was the best of the series! And I really loved them all。 But this just absolutely gripped me and I could not put it down。 These books were so well done! A fitting conclusion to an epic saga。 There will be times when you wish the protagonist took certain different paths。 It might seem like this is certainly not the Pip we fell in love with, but that is part of the point。 This darker, morally complicated version comes from a place of gritty realism and keeps readers grounded at all times。 The conclusion, while satisfying, must be reached through a convoluted path where our moral compasses are made to sway and we are made to question our every beli A fitting conclusion to an epic saga。 There will be times when you wish the protagonist took certain different paths。 It might seem like this is certainly not the Pip we fell in love with, but that is part of the point。 This darker, morally complicated version comes from a place of gritty realism and keeps readers grounded at all times。 The conclusion, while satisfying, must be reached through a convoluted path where our moral compasses are made to sway and we are made to question our every belief when it comes to concepts of justice and fairness。 。。。more

3。5 ⭐️This book is definitely the weakest of the three, IMO。 The whole time I wanted to shout at Pip “call the police!!” “Tell your parents!!” I also didn’t care for the ending。 It was good enough to keep me reading but lacked the spark of the first two 🤷🏻‍♀️

This book had a much slower start than the first two books—and a much longer page count。 After Chapter 15, though, this was just as good as the first two, possibly even better。 If you don’t like the beginning, just keep going! I read the last 350 pages in one sitting。 4。5 Rounded up

I have been looking forward to this final book in the Good Girl's Guide to Murder series and it did not disappoint。 Pip Fitz-Amobi is still haunted by the way her last case ended。 All of a sudden she is seeing the world as gray and not as black and white as when she first started investigating。 As her PTSD gets worse she realizes she is being stalked and things start to come back full circle。 Jackson is a master of building suspense and of keeping the pace moving so fast。 This book is just as go I have been looking forward to this final book in the Good Girl's Guide to Murder series and it did not disappoint。 Pip Fitz-Amobi is still haunted by the way her last case ended。 All of a sudden she is seeing the world as gray and not as black and white as when she first started investigating。 As her PTSD gets worse she realizes she is being stalked and things start to come back full circle。 Jackson is a master of building suspense and of keeping the pace moving so fast。 This book is just as good as the first which is a feat in a series。 Enjoy this final chapter in A Good Girl's Guide to Murder! 。。。more

I'd very much like to go back and pretend that this book ended at the end of Part 1。 Part 2, be gone。 To rewind, this series is probably my all-time favorite YA series and is up there with my favorite thrillers。 I absolutely could not wait to get this book。 Every single day I checked to see if it was on its way yet。 If you're a huge fan of the first two, be warned - this is wholly different。As I read Part 1, I was absolutely IN LOVE。 5+++ stars! It was the old Pip that I loved doing Pip things。 I'd very much like to go back and pretend that this book ended at the end of Part 1。 Part 2, be gone。 To rewind, this series is probably my all-time favorite YA series and is up there with my favorite thrillers。 I absolutely could not wait to get this book。 Every single day I checked to see if it was on its way yet。 If you're a huge fan of the first two, be warned - this is wholly different。As I read Part 1, I was absolutely IN LOVE。 5+++ stars! It was the old Pip that I loved doing Pip things。 One of my favorite parts of the second book was the evolution of Pip - she was no longer just this perfect girl as she started to really understand and face how unjust the criminal justice system and the world is。 Cut to this book, we're seeing how that affected her - she is really dealing with her PTSD and a pill problem, and I didn't mind that at all。 I loved the further evolution of the character throughout Part 1 as she works through her demons and tries to find herself again by doing what she does best, solve the mystery。 Part 2 took this character evolution WAY too far。 For both Ravi and Pip, but especially Pip。 Whereas we always were able to see our characters as the good guys before, I wasn't too sure of it in the second half。 Regardless of who may deserve what, the absolute devolution of the characters in the second part ruined everything I loved about them。 Their moral compass went all out of whack and they did THAT。 I 100% agree with and get the theme that the criminal justice system is messed up and often unjust。 But I'm just not convinced this was the best way to conclude such an amazing trilogy because now I'm not sure how to feel about Pip and Ravi, but mostly Pip。I do think Part 2 was a bold move for the author, and she had to have known it would divide people, so props to her for sticking with this dark theme and really running with it。 I do appreciate the overall theme of the moral grey area, and that it's not always as easy as black and white, good and bad, in life or the criminal justice system。 But for me, this went a little beyond the grey area。 。。。more

Laughter: a few comedic moments with Ravi and Pip as always ☺️Sad: not really 😑Thrill: definitely had my heartbeat raised, loads of drama 😱Plot line: really well done (ofc) and plenty unexpected twists and turns with a great build up 🎢

This book made me so angry, since when is Pip so dumb?

AGGGTM is definitely my favourite trilogy read thus far。 i never thought As Good As Dead would top the other two books in this trilogy, but boy was i wrong。 i am absolutely in love with murder mystery novels like this one, and i recommend this trilogy to everyone that is into them as well。 the ending was so refreshing, which was not expected on my end。 it was a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy。 hats off to Holly Jackson for this one! definitely a good read!!

STILL GOOD even though it is the third book and oftentimes it gets boring BUT NOT HERE。 I thought the story ended naturally, but I kinda want the story to keep going to see the characters again。

This book definitely took a very dark turn about halfway through, and, to be honest, I didn't really like it。 It was disturbing and the gory details were hard for me to stomach。 I really enjoyed the first two in the series and wish I had left it there。*Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an e-galley in exchange for an honest review。 This book definitely took a very dark turn about halfway through, and, to be honest, I didn't really like it。 It was disturbing and the gory details were hard for me to stomach。 I really enjoyed the first two in the series and wish I had left it there。*Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an e-galley in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more

This one was my least favorite of the trilogy, and also the darkest。 I didn’t love how Pip isolated herself from everyone, and more than a third of the book felt like it just kept repeating and repeating as Pip panicked about if she got away with it。 Also didn’t love that she framed someone。。。 This one definitely didn’t have the charm and suspense of the other two。But I still love Team Ravi and Pip。 And did a get teary-eyed on the last page? YES, duh。

HOW was that the end?!? 😭 Thank GOD for that last line though! 🙏🏼 This book was so beyond wrong and so right at the same time! It was the perfect way to end the series but I hated it at the same time! This book made my heart race, shed a tear, and question my morals all in one。 I can’t believe it’s over。

Really a 2。5。 Had issues with the second book but wanted to finish the series, and。。。。 Just can't put words to it without spoiling the mystery。 The book didn't sit well with me。 I didn't like who Pip became but I understand。 I actually put the book down and walked away for a few days when the big twist came。 Jackson is a great writer and brought the series through, but I never thought it would end like that。 Really a 2。5。 Had issues with the second book but wanted to finish the series, and。。。。 Just can't put words to it without spoiling the mystery。 The book didn't sit well with me。 I didn't like who Pip became but I understand。 I actually put the book down and walked away for a few days when the big twist came。 Jackson is a great writer and brought the series through, but I never thought it would end like that。 。。。more

скажем так, специфическая третья часть для детективной серии。 и довольно далеко ушедшая от первой книги и по смыслу, и по стилю, и по настроению
